Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel has made it clear they want to re-sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti.

Currently on-loan at Celtic, Guidetti's City deal expires in June.

"We want to put together the best possible squad and if possible with Guidetti, that would be nice," said sports director Van Geel.

"That's definitely an option. We will do everything to make that happen, but there are two sides needed."

Guidetti and Van Geel have become close since his superb past season with Feyenoord three years ago.
