Feyenoord have struck personal terms with Fenerbahce striker Robin van Persie.

The former Manchester United and Arsenal star is eager to return to his old club for the new season.

AD says Van Persie has settled on a contract with Feyenoord, but a move is far from assured.

The Dutchman is tied to Fener until 2018 and the Turkish giants, for the moment, intend to hold him to the final year of his contract.

Feyenoord do not have the spending power to convince Fener to sell, so leaving Van Persie having to negotiate a release from his deal if a celebrated return is to be made.
