Feyenoord have struck terms with Southampton over the sale of Graziano Pelle.
Voetbal International says the two clubs came to an agreement last night over a fee of €8 million.
The Italian was the subject of an initial failed bid of €6 million from Saints, but last night's improved offer was enough for Feyenoord.
The fee will rise based on appearances and success.
Pelle will join Saints as a direct replacement for Rickie Lambert, who moved to Liverpool before the World Cup.
