Gianluca Festa is set to return to Leeds United as new manager.
The Mirror says former Middlesbrough defender Festa looks like getting the nod from new Elland Road owner Massimo Cellino to replace Brian McDermott, who was axed after 13 turbulent months as United chief on Friday.
Festa, 45, is favourite to land the job following confirmation from Cellino last night that former Sheffield Wednesday striker Beni Carbone, who has been handed a consultancy role at Leeds, will manage the Championship side's Under-21 and academy squads next season.
