Sampdoria coach Ciro Ferrara wants his players to stay grounded.
The Blucerchiati would be joint top of the table without their one-point penalty due to the betting scandal, having beaten Milan, Siena and Pescara.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves," warned Coach Ferrara ahead of the Sunday lunchtime kick-off with Torino.
"Nobody should get any illusions here. Up until we have secured the objective, our job will solely be to ensure safety. Don't forget we reached Serie A via the play-offs."
