Former Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara says the club should not have sold Diego to Wolfsburg.

Ferrara was shown the door by Juve midway through last season.

He said: "For me, Diego deserved another chance.

"There is an argument to be made between the technical and financial side of things.

"The distance with respect to Del Neri's ideas was evident. But I would have given him another chance."
