Ferrara hails his Juventus champions after victory over Inter Milan

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara held his players back after their victory over Inter Milan last night. The Bianconeri are right back in the title race and only five points adrift of the leaders after their 2-1 win tonight.

Claudio Marchisio struck the all-important winner as Juve also survived the dismissal of Felipe Melo.

"We're clearly very happy for the victory, but stayed in the locker room to talk. We're satisfied, it was a deserved win and now we have to focus on Tuesday, that's what I told the lads," said Ferrara looking ahead to the Champions League decider with Bayern Munich.

"To be honest, I was very relaxed tonight. During the week I didn't have to really prepare my squad, as this type of game fires them up anyway. The problem is we also need to play smaller sides and the points are worth the same. It's something we have to learn.

"I have champions in my side and they have the right tension, even if we were coming off some defeats. We gave the right response and of course particularly wanted to beat the champions of Italy."
