Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara has all but confirmed Marcello Lippi is returning to the club.

Lippi is expected to join Juve as technical director after the World Cup in South Africa.

Ferrara revealed: "On Lippi, I have already spoken to him. I would not be bothered if he returned to Juve."

He added: "Even if the championship is still very long, we must return at once to win to avoid losing more ground on Inter."
