Doubts have again been raised over Real's inability to land Villarreal midfielder Santi Cazorla and Valencia striker David Villa in August - particularly after their defeat at Juventus this week.

But midfielder Gago says: "I trust the teammates I have to the death, I am convinced we can win three trophies this season.

"I'm not the one who is to say whether or not we're missing players. Out of respect for my colleagues this current team should be recognised. We're 24 and everybody can play, everything else depends on the coach and the directors.

"It is they who must determine whether or not to sign in December or next year. We know that this team has great players and we want to continue growing every day."
