Fernando Amorebieta has rejected a bigger contract offer from Athletic Bilbao to commit to Fulham.
The Venezuela defender rejected a five-year deal from Bilbao worth €1.8 million-a-season to agree lesser terms with the Cottagers.
Spain sources insist the deal is done, though Fulham boss Martin Jol refused to confirm the agreement yesterday.
