Fernandinho has no doubts he's improved over the last 12 months thanks to his time with Manchester City.
Aside from helping him earn a place at the World Cup, Fernandinho is convinced his experience in the Premier League has made him a better player.
Something he hopes will benefit Brazil during the latter stages of the competition.
"Most of us play our football in Europe now and we're used to getting forward," said Fernandinho.
"Midfielders there also create the play and get into scoring positions.
"Maybe that's the reason why we've got people who can play in that position and yet still get forward to score and start moves, too."
