QPR owner Tony Fernandes knows fans could turn on him.
Fernandes only took control of the Rs in August.
"It's much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. But I'm in a honeymoon period. I'm not naive enough to think that will always be the case," he told the London Evening Standard.
Like AirAsia when he took over, Fernandes sees QPR as "a kind of an unpolished diamond". He says: "We could screw up or we could make it into a diamond, who knows."
