QPR chairman Tony Fernandes has defended their player overhaul since promotion to the Premier League two years ago.

There has been criticism aimed at QPR for not giving their Championship heroes a chance to prove themselves.

Fernandes said: "I think a lot has been made of us letting players from the Championship-winning side leave.

"But none moved on to play in the Premier League. Some are in the bottom half of the Championship."
