Ferguson tells Man Utd not to meet Tottenham's Modric price

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is unhappy with the price being quoted by Tottenham for midfielder Luka Modric.

The Mail on Sunday says Ferguson is refusing to meet Spurs' £32 million valuation.

Ferguson has left for his annual break in the south of France and will wait while considering other options for rebuilding the squad that was second best to Manchester City in the title race.
