Ferguson to stick with youngsters for semi-final
Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that he will stick with the relatively young Manchester United line-up he used to defeat Tottenham 2-0 in the Carling Cup quarters for the semi-final.
Ferguson gave the inexperienced team another chance despite going down to Turkish club Besiktas 1-0 in the Champions League last week and they vindicated his faith by cruising past Spurs and booking their place in the final four of the competition, delighting the manager.
“We're two games away from Wembley, that's good. We'll enjoy the semi-final and these lads will play again,” the scot said.
He also heaped praise on two-goal hero Darron Gibson as well as Brazilian midfielder Anderson, who he had a slight falling out with recently.
"Gibson and Anderson did very well in the middle of the park,” he added.
"He (Gibson) did well. The second goal particularly, the movement and working off the ball was good and a terrific finish.”

When he mean youngters he never said 11 youngters u fagggot,he just want to put SOME youngters who hardly played in the 11 first team players, the like of Gibson,De laet, welbeck,Obertan,Tosic etc..
8 of the 11 from
besiktas retained their
places. The only differences were berbatov (for macheda) back from injury/kidnapping plot, youth team's richie da laet for rafael, and kusczak for englands "best" and "#1" foster.
Not so much of a step up. Spurs had more players from their starting xi then utd did
so vidic, carrick, kuczsazk, beille, brown, anderson, berbatov, obertan arent first team players are they alex? call that a young. reserve team u got be joking
