Sir Alex Ferguson has made a bold statement, suggesting Phil Jones could be Manchester United's best ever player.
The 21-year old defender/midfielder, who arrived from Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2011, starred as United clinched their 20th league title with a 3-0 win over Aston Villa at Old Trafford on Monday night prompting these words from Fergie.
"You saw Jones tonight," Ferguson told Sky Sports. "Arguably, the way he is looking, he could be our best ever player."
