Barry Ferguson says reaching the Carling Cup final will be no distraction for Birmingham City's players.
The Blues now are looking forward to a Carling Cup final against Arsenal.
The Scottish midfielder said: "We can climb away from the relegation zone and getting to the Carling Cup final can only help. I've heard people say that having the final ahead of us is going to be a distraction.
"Honestly it is not a distraction, I can guarantee all our focus is on the league and changing this position we are in."
