Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists he wants to keep Nemanja Vidic.
Ferguson is determined to keep Vidic at Old Trafford, contrary to reports suggesting the Serbian is heading for a summer exit.
"A lot of clubs want to buy our players. We want him to stay, of course. He's a great player and one of the best centre-backs in the world," he said.
"It's a difficult one because Nemanja feels like he needs a lot of training.
"He's trained for the last ten days but still doesn't feel ready to take part in any games. We must be patient with the situation and that's what we are doing."
