Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted with what he is seeing from his team.
Ferguson has warned league leaders Manchester City his team has the courage and character to beat them to the title.
Two points separate the sides with another derby to come on April 28.
"But when push comes to shove, I believe that the character in our team gives us an excellent chance of defending our title.
"Manchester United's never-say-die approach is woven into the fabric of the club's history. I wonder at times exactly how long we can go on picking ourselves up.
"But it must be in the United genes because there is no sign of this invaluable quality fading." Fergie said: "Courage and determination are qualities that make the difference in a league packed with top-class players.
