Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has told Liverpool they must brace themselves to lose their status as England's most successful club.
The Old Trafford side have 17 league titles - one fewer than their Mersey rivals.
Ferguson said: "I did my job of getting rid of Liverpool many years ago from that top position. I did that job.
"I don't concern myself with overtaking Liverpool because this team will do it. They will win more titles. But the European thing is part of my motivation."
