Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admits he enjoyed having Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo back in the United dressing room last week. Fergie said it felt just like old times with the stick flying around and he was tempted to whisk the former United ace back to Old Trafford.
He said: "Cristiano was in the dressing room afterwards.
"He came in to see the lads and we had good banter and he was on good form. He was there for a while and it was good.
"He got a bit of stick right enough but that's water off a duck's back for Ronaldo. Was I tempted to bring him back. Yeah - he's still in the hamper."
Ronaldo has already said he cannot wait for the return leg.
Fergie said: "I'm sure he'll be looking forward to it. He's a big-game player isn't he - so it's no problem for him.
"What a goal he scored on Wednesday - it was like watching myself!"
