Newcastle United fullback Shane Ferguson is desperate for more first team action.
Ferguson was unlucky not to score on two occasions against Stoke and now is keen to showcase his ability to beat defenders with his left-flank runs.
The 19-year-old told the Evening Chronicle: "I know I can do that and it is something in my locker.
"I will get up and support the midfield all the time. My aim is to get in as many crosses and shots as I can.
"We'll be training hard from now on in until the Wolves match and hopefully we'll get the win we need.
"Hopefully I will be involved, and if I get the nod, I'm ready."
