Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is delighted to see Eric Cantona back in football at New York Cosmos.
Fergie admits he was surprised but pleased to see one of his old favourites Cantona return to the game this week as director of soccer with the re-formed New York Cosmos.
Ferguson said: "He has been out of the game for a few years. His main life has been acting and he's done very well at that. So it was a surprise but I'm pleased for him.
"He has so much to offer. He has the personality, the charisma and a great knowledge of the game. It's different to what he has been used to, but he'll be all right because he is intelligent."
