Ferguson disappointed Man Utd failed to score

Manchester United are now unbeaten in twenty Champions League matches following a scoreless draw with Inter Milan. United will be disappointed not to take an away goal back to Old Trafford in the second leg of this entertaining Champions League encounter.

The Reds dominated the first half and whilst Inter rallied in the second period they failed to find the back of the net, although in the final minute Ronaldo's swerving free kick hit the Milan keeper Julio Cesar and bounced to safety.

Ronaldo also had header saved in the early minutes and Ryan Giggs failed to take advantage when clean through.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson felt his team deserved to win, telling ITV1: "I think we played very well. There was maybe fifteen minutes in the second half when they exerted a bit of pressure, but we expected that.

"But other than that we showed good composure and maturity. We're playing very well at the moment and it doesn't matter who we play.
