Sir Alex Ferguson was back at Manchester United yesterday.
The Daily Mail says Ferguson has returned to Old Trafford for one of his first official appointments since his hip operation, but it wasn't to check on David Moyes' progress.
Ferguson was due to address an elite coaches forum from the MUTV studios on Wednesday, as the familiar surroundings at Old Trafford finally begin to move on without him.
The 71-year-old will return to the public image sooner rather than later, however. He is due to be plugging his new autobiography during a five-date tour, which will bring him to Salford next month on October 28.
