Ferguson: AC Milan clash too important for Man Utd fans to protest
Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is confident there won't be any anti-Glazer protests for their Champions League clash with AC Milan.
Ferguson believes the extreme element of the green and gold anti-Glazer campaign will refrain from any kind of boycott, including delaying entrance to the stadium for 10 minutes as has been suggested.
"The fans won't do that," said Ferguson. "It is too important a game.
"Old Trafford will be rocking and I am sure whether they are wearing the traditional red and white or the protest green and gold scarves, the supporters will be united and speaking with one voice to get us safely through."
