Rio Ferdinand has welcomed Shinji Kagawa to Manchester United via his Twitter account.
The centre-back was delighted to see that the Japan international had joined from Borussia Dortmund and is hoping for a successful stint for his new teammate.
"Welcome to Shinji Kagawa for his transfer to Man Utd. heres to a succesful time here bro!" he posted.
