Ferdinand wants Man Utd to worry about themselves, not Man City

Rio Ferdinand feels it is important for Manchester United to worry about what is happening in their own backyard.

The Red Devils lost the Premier League title on goal difference to neighbours Manchester City last season and even though they sit seven points clear at the top this term, Ferdinand is aware they simply have to focus on themselves and nobody else.

"Last year was the first time City had challenged properly and there was a lot of focus on Manchester," he said.

"But we have to make sure we keep our own house in order, make sure we keep ticking off the games.

"There is no point us focusing on anyone but ourselves."
