Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says the club's veterans can lead them to title success this season.
Centre-half Ferdinand said: “It is easier when you have experienced players in your camp — the likes of Giggsy, Nev, Scholesey — players who have won the league before.
“Maybe that is the edge we have on other teams.”
Six consecutive wins has taken United two points clear at the top with a game in hand.
Ferdinand added: “You’ve got to get momentum. If you’ve got momentum going into the last few games of the season, then you are in a good position to strike.”
