UK pay-TV network BT Sport has agreed a deal to provide live coverage ex-England international Rio Ferdinand's testimonial match on 9th August, reports www.sportspromedia.com/. The friendly match, which will see Premier League champions Manchester United face La Liga outfit Sevilla at Old Trafford, has been organised in recognition of Ferdinand's 12-year spell as a United player.

The game will also be available online in as many as 170 countries after the game's organisers struck a deal with live streaming video specialists Streamworks. Online coverage will be available for free in the UK.
