QPR were over the moon after completing the signing of Tjaronn Chery on Monday.
The 27-year-old Dutch forward has joined the west London club from Dutch side FC Groningen on a three-year deal and both director of football Les Ferdinand and manager Chris Ramsay were delighted with the capture.
"We've been trying to get this one over the line for a while now, so we're delighted it's finalised," Ferdinand said on QPR's official website.
"There were a lot of clubs in for him, including some from the Premier League, so it's pleasing that he's decided to come here."
An equally delighted Ramsay added: "Tjaronn is a very good technician, a fine player.
"He can play in a variety of positions in the top half of the field and will bring more pace to our squad, which is something I knew we needed after last season.
"We've had him watched at length and we're really happy we've got him on board with a few weeks to go until the start of the season."
