Les Ferdinand isn't surprised to see Tim Sherwood progressing at Tottenham.

Sherwood is being tipped for the football director's role at Spurs.

"Tim is a very confident fellow. He understands football and loves football. He's had a good impact since he's been at Tottenham. He took over the development squad at the end of the season before last and he enjoys what he does," Ferdinand told talkSPORT.

"I think the chairman and everyone around the club has seen the impact that Tim has had."
