Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand insists the squad is strong enough to handle their pursuit of three more trophies.

"Game to game you can see us putting out different teams," Ferdinand told Inside United. "The manager has the players to be able to mix and match a bit more now, and the players who're coming in are always ready.

"In the past the manager might not have been so keen to rotate it because he knew that he couldn't be absolutely confident in every single player, but now he knows that every team he puts out has a good chance of winning.

"That's great for the squad, the manager and the fans."
