Rio Ferdinand insists Manchester United can win without Wayne Rooney.

Rooney is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with an ankle sprain.

Ferdinand said: "In games Wayne has missed recently, we've scored some goals. Dimitar [Berbatov] has come in and done ever so well.

"Rooney is a great player and has been very influential in our season so far but we know we have players who can come in and deliver."
