Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand is a big fan of Manchester City's attack.

Ferdinand feels their pace gives them a chance against Champions League opponents AS Monaco.

He said: “City's frontline looks 'wow'. I'm happy I have retired when I look at how quick they are.

“It is the quickest frontline I have ever seen – and they seem to have found a rhythm. Pep has admitted the Premier League has taken him by surprise – basic things like second balls, challenging people and stuff like that.

“At Barcelona or Bayern, his teams would have 90 per cent possession in some games, so they wouldn't have to fight like you do in England."
