Sunderland will invite offers for defender Anton Ferdinand.
The former England U21 international has been linked with Tottenham and former club West Ham United.
The Daily Mail says Black Cats boss Steve Bruce will allow Ferdinand and George McCartney to leave, if he can find buyers.
Players who have been out on loan - Daryl Murphy, David Healy, Nyron Nosworthy, Teemu Tainio, Marton Fulop and Roy O'Donovan - will all be allowed to leave.
