Rio Ferdinand claims the depth of Manchester United's squad this season is the best in the Premiership. The Reds are currently top of the pile and are unbeaten so far this term after 21 games and still have two games in hand on second placed Manchester City.
Boss Sir Alex Ferguson also feels the same way as he has indicated he will not be entering the January transfer window.
"I look around the changing room and I'm happy with the players we've got," Ferdinand said.
"I'm sure the manager is too.
"If he sees fit to add to it, I stand by whatever decision he makes. But I don't see a problem with the depth of our squad. When everyone's fit, we've got the best in the league.
"In midfield we've got Carrick, Fletcher, Scholes, Anderson, Giggs, Park, Nani, Valencia, Hargreaves.
"That's an abundance of talent and people say 'You've not got depth in the squad'. But try and pick a foursome out of that - it's difficult."
