Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits they could have sold defender Jonny Evans in the summer.

"Jonny's a top, top player," said Ferdinand recently. "A few clubs looked at him in the summer and that shows what a good prospect he is.

"He's been assured every time he's been called on and I can't recall him making a mistake."
