Rio Ferdinand is supremely confident that the current Manchester United squad does not need any bolstering.
The Red Devils are still in pursuit of Barcelona ace Cesc Fabregas but centre-back Ferdinand is of the belief that David Moyes does not need any further strengthening as he prepares for his debut season at Old Trafford.
"We're confident. If we had to go into the season with the players that we've got now I'd be more than confident and with high hopes of doing well and winning trophies," Ferdinand said.
"If the manager adds to that and chooses to add to that, then great - but it remains to be seen."
United have brought in promising winger Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace as well as Uruguayan full-back Guillermo Varela from Penarol so far this summer.
