Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand admits they haven't been at their best this season.

Ferdinand admits United still have not played to their maximum this campaign.

He told The Sun: "We've never been at our fluid irresistible best in a lot of the games but we've been getting results, which is the difference compared to last season.

"We played some really good stuff last season but didn't get some of the results we should have.

"If we really start to play well then we are going to be very hard for anyone to beat."
