Ferdinand said: "We know we had the chance to do more last season. This might seem a bit funny when you see what we achieved, but when we got in the changing room after the Champions League final there was a little disappointment that we hadn't won a Treble.
"You dream about winning the Champions League and to actually get there and do it was unbelievable.
"You think about your family and your mates and all the fans who are there.
"Then you do all the interviews and you start thinking strange thoughts like about how we lost to Portsmouth in the FA Cup.
"Me and Michael Carrick were talking about it and wondering how, if we'd only put our chances away in that game, we might have gone on to win at Wembley. So next season our aim is to get the Treble. People might think it cannot be done again like United did in 1999, but it speaks volumes about the attitude of this squad that we believe it's possible."
