Leroy Fer insists Norwich City teammate Ricky van Wolfswinkel will soon hit the goals trail.

Fer believes it is only a matter of time.

"Of course the goals will come. He is a really good striker," said Fer. "It's not just Ricky but we have Gary Hooper and Johan Elmander. As a team we want to score goals. He had a good chance at the end against Manchester City and the ball went between his legs.

"There is a little bit of luck involved but I know in the future he will score goals for us. Everybody knows Ricky is a striker who has scored a lot of goals in his career and he is still doing the same things and in the future his goals will come."
