Fenerbahce ace Roberto Carlos has blasted Real Madrid's current board over their treatment of Robinho.
Reflecting on his Brazil teammate's move to Manchester City, Roberto Carlos snapped: "Now, on the board of Madrid, there are two people without experience. Lorenzo Sanz was capable of connecting with people and Florentino Perez made a great contribution liquidating the debt.
"They were good leaders."
He continued: "The sports director (Predrag Mijatovic) and the president (Ramon Calderon) lacked respect for Robinho. One cannot generalize and criticize the entire board.
"The responsibility was with these two people. The players were unhappy and felt treated poorly when they believed that the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo was becoming close."
