Fenerbahce are edging closer to signing Real Madrid midfielder Hamit Altintop.

The Turkey international is available from Real, though a move to Fener has stalled over personal terms.

Real have accepted a €2 million offer from Fener for Altintop, who needs to drop his €3.5 million-a-year demands by €500,000-a-year to see the deal happen.
