Turkish heavyweights Fenerbache are reportedly plotting a surprise move for Chelsea captain John Terry.

Terry has one year remaining on his Blues contract and it is understood Fenerbache are hoping to sign the 34-year-old on a free transfer at the end of the current Premier League season.

The Daily Mail is reporting Terry could earn as much as £2.5million a season if he opts to join the Turkish Super Lig outfit.

Terry is permitted to start negotiating with other clubs from January onwards.
