Fenerbahce midfielder Josef de Souza is wanted by Wolves.

The Sun says the 29-year-old impressed last season to help his Istanbul club finish Super Lig runners-up and clinch a Champions League place.

Rio-born De Souza previously attracted interest from Watford and West Brom.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo now hopes to land the powerful ball-winner in time for his side's Premier League return.

And Molineux officials are understood to have contacted their Turkish opposite numbers about a deal for the three-cap international.

Sources in Istanbul claim Wolves are ready to offer up to £11million for De Souza, who will be out of contract next summer.
