Fenerbahce are closing in on Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra.
AS says Diarra was in Istanbul on April 7 to meet with Ali Yildirim, brother of the Turkish club's president Aziz Yildirim.
Lass took in a Fener game and later talked terms with Yildirim, asking for €6.5 million-a-year to make the move this summer. He didn't receive a firm response, but negotiations have now opened.
At Real, the former Chelsea and Arsenal man is on €4 million-a-year.
