Fenerbahce are set to pass on signing permanently on-loan Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
The Holland international hasn't played since December due to a foot injury.
TRT pundit Serkan Saydam told NOS: "Fenerbahçe needs him, I was told. There are difficult matches. If he is fit, he will certainly play.
"He has played too little to judge him properly or to steal the hearts of the fans. But he showed himself to be a good team player and is physically strong. That is necessary in Turkey. The defenders are strong here, but he started the fight.
"Fenerbahçe cannot get him under these financial circumstances. He is too expensive, so that will be difficult."
