Fellaini can walk out of Everton thanks to escape clause

Marouane Fellaini is preparing to leave Everton this summer.

The Mail on Sunday says there is a £23million escape clause in Fellaini's contract.

The revelation that his five-year deal, signed in 2011, has the escape clause is bound to fire up the battle for his signature this summer.

The only possible preventative scenario would be the fact that to invoke the loophole, the buying club must have qualified for next season's Champions League.
