Reading goalkeeper Adam Federici is confident about Friday night's (BST) Championship playoff first leg.
The Australian gloveman and his Royals teammates host Cardiff City at Madejski Stadium for a chance to progress to the Premier League promotion playoff and he feels that although it will be a tough contest, he has the belief that Reading can put themselves in a strong position ahead of the return leg in Wales next weekend.
"Every time we have played them it has been a tight affair and it will be tough," he said. "But I think we have the squad to do it and the team we put out will be very strong.
"There's a great spirit here, that's one of the great things about Reading," he added. "We've been tough to beat all season and hopefully that will be the same in the play-offs as well."
